Slovak defender who, at 6’9″, became the tallest player to ever play in the NHL. He won the Norris Trophy for the league’s top defender in 2009 and helped the Bruins win a Stanley Cup Championship in 2011.
He played in the American Hockey League and Western Hockey League before making his NHL debut with the York Islanders in 1997.
